2024 Mitsubishi Mirage ES

2024 Mitsubishi Mirage ES FWD Performance and Capability

The 2024 Mitsubishi Mirage ES is built around a light, efficient 1.2-liter three-cylinder engine paired with a continuously variable transmission, a combination tuned for easy city driving and low running costs rather than brute force. Front-wheel drive keeps power delivery predictable and the whole car planted, which matters when you're navigating slick Western New York winters and want a vehicle that responds calmly to stop-and-go traffic and tight parking maneuvers. Its compact footprint and tight turning circle make it genuinely nimble in urban settings, slipping into spaces larger cars pass by and shrugging off the daily grind of commuting. With a curb weight kept intentionally low, the Mirage ES feels eager off the line at everyday speeds and rewards drivers who prioritize maneuverability and simplicity over horsepower.

2024 Mitsubishi Mirage ES FWD Interior and Comfort Features

Inside, the Mirage ES offers a straightforward, well-organized cabin trimmed in durable black fabric that stands up to daily use. The seating position is upright and visibility is excellent, giving the driver a clear read on their surroundings, and the front seats provide comfortable support for the daily drive. Despite its subcompact size, the Mirage makes smart use of interior volume with usable rear seating and a hatchback layout that opens up cargo flexibility for groceries, gear, or weekend errands. Simple, intuitive climate controls and clean instrumentation keep the driving experience uncluttered, and the low-effort ergonomics make this a car that's genuinely easy to live with day to day.

2024 Mitsubishi Mirage ES FWD Fuel Economy and Efficiency

Efficiency is the heart of the Mirage's appeal, and the ES delivers with EPA-estimated 36 city and 43 highway mpg, for roughly 39 mpg combined on regular gasoline. That kind of frugality translates into fewer stops at the pump and lower monthly fuel spend, making the Mirage ES an ideal choice for commuters, students, and anyone looking to stretch every gallon. The small-displacement three-cylinder and CVT work together to sip fuel on the highway while staying thrifty around town, giving this hatchback one of the most cost-effective ownership profiles in its segment.

2024 Mitsubishi Mirage ES FWD Technology and Connectivity

The Mirage ES keeps technology practical and accessible with a touchscreen infotainment system that supports smartphone connectivity and Bluetooth for hands-free calling and audio streaming. Steering-wheel-mounted controls let you manage audio and phone functions without taking your hands off the wheel, and USB connectivity keeps devices charged and integrated on the go. It's a clean, no-nonsense tech setup that covers the essentials modern drivers rely on, giving you the connectivity you need without the complexity you don't.

2024 Mitsubishi Mirage ES FWD Safety and Driver Assistance

Safety in the Mirage ES starts with a comprehensive airbag system and a rearview camera that simplifies parking and reversing in tight spots. A suite of electronic aids including anti-lock brakes, stability control, and traction control helps the driver stay composed on wet or uneven surfaces, and the car's compact dimensions and strong sightlines make it easy to place with confidence. This is a small car engineered to give newer and experienced drivers alike a reassuring baseline of everyday security.
