2022 Toyota Highlander Platinum AWD

2022 Toyota Highlander Platinum AWD Performance and Capability

The 2022 Toyota Highlander Platinum is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 that delivers 295 horsepower and pairs with a smooth-shifting eight-speed automatic transmission for confident, refined acceleration whether you're merging onto the highway or climbing a grade. Its all-wheel-drive system distributes power intelligently to help maintain traction on wet, snowy, and uneven surfaces, making it a dependable companion through slick Western New York winters and well-suited to year-round family driving. With available towing capability, responsive steering, and a composed, planted ride, this Highlander handles daily commuting and weekend road trips with equal ease, giving three-row flexibility without sacrificing drivability.

2022 Toyota Highlander Platinum AWD Interior and Comfort Features

Step inside and you're greeted by Glazed Caramel Brown leather-trimmed seating that lends the cabin a warm, upscale character, set against the clean Wind Chill Pearl exterior. As the top Platinum trim, this Highlander brings heated and ventilated front seats, a heated second row, a panoramic moonroof, and a power-adjustable driver's seat with memory for personalized comfort. Three rows of seating accommodate the whole family, while tri-zone automatic climate control keeps every passenger comfortable. Thoughtful touches like ambient lighting, a digital rearview mirror, soft-touch surfaces, and generous cargo space behind the third row make this a genuinely livable, premium-feeling interior for errands and long hauls alike.

2022 Toyota Highlander Platinum AWD Fuel Economy and Efficiency

Running on regular gasoline, this Highlander Platinum returns an EPA-estimated 20 mpg city and 27 mpg highway, for roughly 23 mpg combined. That's a sensible balance for a three-row AWD SUV, giving you the space and all-weather capability of a family hauler while keeping fuel stops reasonable on longer trips. The efficient V6 and eight-speed automatic work together to deliver that highway-friendly efficiency without sacrificing the power you'll appreciate when the vehicle is fully loaded.

2022 Toyota Highlander Platinum AWD Technology and Connectivity

The Platinum trim is well-equipped on the technology front, centered on a large 12.3-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, built-in navigation, and SiriusXM compatibility. A JBL premium audio system fills the cabin with rich sound, while a wireless charging pad, multiple USB ports, and a 12.3-inch digital instrument display keep devices powered and information front and center. A head-up display projects key driving data into your line of sight, and the digital rearview mirror and surround-view camera system make maneuvering and parking noticeably easier.
